book refill x The Dybdahl Co.
This special edition book series features printed covers with select illustrations in collaboration with The Dybdahl Co. Immerse yourself in the world of reefs or Japan as the illustrations grace both the front and back covers, creating a stunning composition when the book is opened.
Each book refill features 96 pages, so you have enough space to express your creativity. We have added a traditional open bind, so your (ruled, plain, dotted) book will always lay flat when open (all the left-handers will love this), and we have managed to make this beauty a true lightweight which you can carry everywhere you go.

Our special edition debuts the beloved book series featuring printed covers with select illustrations in collaboration with our friends at The Dybdahl Co.
The illustrations are spread across the front and back covers, giving each side its own composition, whilst making a bigger piece when the book is opened.
the reef collection
We loved the colourful playfulness of the illustrations as discovered in a book from the early 1800s.
The fish depicted, from left to right, are:
the Blotched Bigeye (Priacanthus Carolinus), the Clown Triggerfish (Balistoides conspicillum) and the Little Longhorn Cowfish (Ostracion Cornutus).
the Japan collection
We were struck by the elegant delicacy and powerful simplicity of these Japanese illustrations dating from the early 1900s.
They depict some of the most identifiable motifs in Japanese culture:
Waves off the coast of the island, the imposing Mt. Fuji and the imperial flower, the Chrysanthemum.
