A celebration of craftsmanship and thoughtful making, this leather charm gives new life to carefully preserved leather rests from our workshop. Inspired by the wild textures and shifting landscapes behind the Dúchas edition, it was created as a small keepsake included with all grand voyageurs, le trifolds, and le portfolios to travel with you along the way.
What does Dúchas mean?
Dúchas is an Irish word that speaks to heritage, belonging, and a deep connection to the land, a word that reflects both where stories come from and how they are passed on. It’s a rich concept around identity, roots, and what comes naturally from your origins.
the craft behind the leather
For this special edition, we chose an old finishing technique: stone polishing.
The leather is gently worked with stone, slowly and by hand, allowing its surface to soften and reveal a richer depth and texture. Back in our Vienna workshop, every piece is carefully crafted by hand by our artisans.
Like stories passed from one person to another, the leather carries the marks of time beautifully, growing softer, deeper, and more personal with every journey, thought, and moment it holds.
