In this intimate contemporary music concert, Vienna-based ensemble between feathers presents the fourth edition of A Room of One’s Own, featuring flute, accordion, paper, everyday objects, and improvisations inspired by visual art. The programme includes a new work by Atousa Falamarzian, created especially for the performance at la maison and developed with paper as a central material, alongside works by Yulan Yu, Luxa Mart*in Schüttler, Malin Bång, and Sarah Nemtsov.

In this evening talk, the founder of Matriarchive reflects on building a genuine creative collective of over 40 women working across architecture, art, photography, design, and research. Through the story of Matriarchive and its first physical home in Vienna, the conversation explores how meaningful communities are created through shared commitment, care, and collaboration, not marketing.

Markus or Lukas will introduce you to the professional tasting method used to evaluate specialty coffees, as you compare coffees from different origins and discover how processing and roasting shape their unique flavours.
