Welcome to [the library]. Our workshop and the place where all of paper republic’s sewn leather products are made. It’s also where you’ll find our l’atelier bespoke team, creating custom pieces side by side with the rest of the crew.

[the library] is a bright, open space under a glass roof, filled with plants that make it feel a little like a greenhouse. There are long tables for cutting, gluing, hammering, and burning leather, as well as rows of industrial sewing machines that help bring your leather goods to life.

Its name comes from the shelves stacked with books, leathers, and samples that surround us every day.

Welcome to [the bank], the home of our stock team. This is where every grand voyageur gets its ribbon, carefully tied by hand, and where the leather for all of our products is cut using our trusted cutting machine.

The space itself is just as unique as the work done inside. With its high ceilings and spacious layout, it once housed an actual bank, which is how it got its name.

[the cathedral]

Welcome to [the cathedral] where our fulfillment team prepares and ships your orders with care, and where leather journals are embossed with your chosen words or initials.

The space earned its name thanks to its soaring ceilings, reminiscent of a cathedral. It’s large enough to hold a second, lofted floor that serves as our warehouse, where the team stores products and unloads shipments of leather and paper.

[the ship]

Welcome to [the ship], our office space and the home of the Paper Republic teams behind the scenes: marketing, product development, customer service, operations, sales, finance, and HR.

In [the ship], ideas are exchanged, meetings are held, and decisions are made about new products and the future of Paper Republic. Its name comes from its shape, long and narrow at the ends, and wide in the middle, like a vessel cutting through the water.

From our windows, we’re lucky to have a view of one of Vienna’s most recognizable landmarks: the colorful Wien Energie building designed by Hundertwasser.
