Personalise your leather cover with your initials, name, or a meaningful word using our signature font. Embossing is available in standard and gold foil on most leather products. For our grand voyageur and le portfolio collections, you can also choose from special orange or blue foil embossing.
Additionally, our thicker book refills can be embossed in gold when ordered individually (not as part of a bundle), adding a refined touch to your everyday companion.

what’s the difference between the notebook and book refills?
Notebook refills are slim, staple-bound booklets with 48 pages, ideal for everyday notes, lists, or journaling.
Book refills, on the other hand, are thread-bound, offering a more durable and elegant structure with a higher page count. They’re perfect for long-form writing, journaling, or archiving your thoughts in a more substantial format.
what sizes are available?
Our refills come in several formats to match our leather journals:
[pocket]: fits all grand voyageur [pocket] or le portfolio [a6]
[xl]: fits all grand voyageur [xl] or le portfolio [a5]
[a4]: fits all grand voyageur [a4] or le portfolio [a4]
are your refills fountain pen friendly?
Our refills made with 100 g/m² or higher paper are fountain pen friendly. These include the weekly planners, timeless planner, and book refills. They offer a smooth, bleed-resistant writing experience ideal for ink-based tools.
how many refills fit inside the leather journals?
For the grand voyageur leather journal, you will be able to fit up to four notebook refills or up to two thicker refills, like the book refill or drawing book.
The portfolio, which are cut a little larger, can hold even more of our refills!
what are ribbons used for?
Ribbons are used to hold your paper refills inside your journal and to keep your journal securely closed.
— The ribbon loop wraps around your journal to close it.
— The inner ribbons hold your notebooks or refills in place.
They’re easy to install, come in a variety of colours, and let you personalise your journal to fit your style and needs.
how many ribbons can be used in each journal?
Each journal supports a flexible ribbon setup depending on how many refills you want to carry:
grand voyageur & le portfolio
- Included: 1 ribbon loop + 1 inner ribbon (allows space for 2 paper refills)
- Maximum capacity: 2 ribbon loops + 3 inner ribbons
Adding 2 additional ribbons makes space for 4 notebook refills.
All journals can support 2 ribbon loops for a layered accent on the outside.
what embossing options are available?
You can personalise your leather cover with initials, a name, or a meaningful word using our signature font. It’s a simple way to make your journal truly yours.
At the moment, we only support letters, numbers, and basic punctuation in our signature font. Emojis and special symbols aren’t available.
We offer standard (no colour) embossing and gold foil on most leather products. For the grand voyageur and le portfolio collections, you can also choose orange or blue foil for a more colourful touch.
can I return an embossed item?
Since embossed products are customised, they are not eligible for return or exchange, unless there is a defect or error on our part.
